Try this quick and tasty Hummus recipe that comes out better than store-bought Hummus and the freshness takes it to the next level.
Ingredients
- Garlic – 3 Cloves
- Tahini – 3 Tablespoons
- Water – 1/4 Cup (Chilled)
- Chickpeas – 1 Can (540 grams)
- Lemon Juice – 1 Tablespoon
- Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon (or to taste)
Directions
Step 1. Add 2 Tablespoons water and peeled garlic cloves into a blender and blend them well. Water will help in blending garlic into a paste.
Step 2. Add Tahini sauce into it and blend it well for 2 to 3 min. This will make a thick paste-like structure.
Step 3. Add chicken peas, Lemon Juice, and Salt to the blender and blend well for 4 to 5 min or until smooth. During the blending process, keep adding chilled ice water with a tablespoon to cool down the Hummus mixture and make it fluffy and smooth. Eyeball to achieve desired consistency.
Step 4. Dish out the Hummus into a bowl. Garnish with Paprika, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Olives of your choice.
